The INSPIRE Maine Scholarship at the University of Maine and the Downeast Promise at the University of Maine at Machias are Promise Programs designed to help Maine residents with financial need access an affordable college education. Both programs cover 100% of tuition and mandatory fees for up to four years for eligible Maine residents enrolling full-time as first-year or transfer students.
