A: Yes. We are a full-time police deparment, open 24-hours a day and 365 days a year.

A: Our police department is a full-time law enforcement agency. Additionally, we are the only accredited campus law enforcement agency in the state. For more information about our department visit here.

A: Monday through Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm, call Residence Life at 207.581-4801 or go to their office.

From 7:00 pm until midnight, go to the Residence Advisor in your respective Residence Hall.

From Midnight to 8:00 am call UMPD at 207.581.4040.

A: No, this was a program that was eliminated during the 2025-2026 school year. All firearms must be stored off-campus. For more information, review our Firearms Policy here.
