Izzy Bouchard

Role: As the Visual Media Specialist at the University of Maine, Izzy Bouchard is responsible for creating and curating high-quality visual content, including images and videos, to bolster the institutions’ Marketing and Communications Department. Her duties also include managing comprehensive photo and video archives, ensuring organization, accessibility, and adherence to necessary protocols while leading initiatives to educate and mentor students and faculty in proficient photography and video production, empowering our community with essential media skills.

Bio: Bouchard cultivated her passion for visual storytelling through photography and videography. Armed with a communication technology degree from the New England School of Communications and prior roles including a visual production internship at the Home Shopping Network and director of art at the Maine Arts Academy, Bouchard now serves as the visual media specialist at the University of Maine. In this role, she leverages her rich expertise to craft compelling visual narratives while continuing her dedication to capturing timeless moments.
