Facility Policies
Facility Entry (Climbing Wall)
- Anyone aged 18+ must present a MaineCard, RecCard, or a government issued picture ID card.
- Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a legal guardian or other responsible adult who is 18+.
- Anyone aged 0-13 must be accompanied by a parent or other responsible adult guardian, who presents their own MaineCard, RecCard, or a government issued picture ID card and vouches for the child’s identity.
- Waiver required for every person entering/using our facilities
Facility Use (Climbing Wall)
- No loose chalk is allowed in our facility; liquid chalk only.
- Climbers using the auto belay must weigh between 22 lbs and 308 lbs (10kg-139kg).
- Gum, food, or drinks, with the exception of water, is prohibited in the activity area.
- Climbers may use personal equipment at their own risk; equipment must be manufactured for climbing. Maine Bound reserves the right to prohibit the use of any personal equipment at any time.
Facility Use (Challenge Course)
- A group that wants to use the challenge course must book a program through Maine Bound.
- Waiver required for all participants – digital waiver will be provided to group organizer.
- Some of our high course elements have weight restrictions (250 lbs) and/or restrictions based on ability to fit properly into harnesses and protective equipment. Determining proper fit is at the sole discretion of program facilitators.
- Closed-toe shoes are required to participate.
- Our challenge course operates from Late April-Early November.
Refund Policies
Contract Programs
- To cancel a program and receive a full refund you must notify Maine Bound of cancellation at least 1 week (5 business days) before the scheduled program date.
- The required 25% deposit will be kept for any late cancellations.
- If Maine Bound cancels a program for any reason, full payment will be refunded.
Trips and Clinics
- No refunds will be granted after the Wednesday sign-up deadline
- If Maine Bound cancels the trip/clinic a full refund will be issued
