Miguel joined the Kerr Lab as a PhD Graduate Student in the fall of 2024. Miguel is a researcher using simulation modeling to study how climate-driven changes in life-history processes affect marine population dynamics. He received his B.S. in Environmental Science from the University of Southern Maine and an M.S. in Fisheries Science from Oregon State University. His current dissertation research focuses on temperature-dependent growth and its effects on American lobster populations.
