Nadine Bravo
Nadine Bravo has recently joined the IEI team. She recently graduated from the University of Southern Maine with two MsEds in Teaching and Learning World Languages (German and Spanish) and TESOL. She is pursuing a certificate in Native American Studies with an interest in Native Americans as English Learners at Montana State University Bozeman. Her work experience includes teaching and tutoring Spanish, German, and ESOL to K-12 and adult learners. She was born and raised in former East Germany, bringing a unique cultural lens to her language students. She traveled extensively in Europe and lived in Lithuania, Russia, and Chile during her studies before moving to the U.S. as an exchange student. Here, she explored various regions (New Mexico, Texas, California, New York, and Michigan) before finally settling in Maine in 2011.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her three children, gardening, cooking, hiking, yoga, and reading.
