Application

APPLICATION DEADLINE: Wednesday, January 3, 2024

Fellowship Start Date: September 3, 2024

We value applicants with a range of diverse experiences and perspectives. Forensic psychologists work with disenfranchised populations and must have the capacity to articulate the impact of their examinees’ life experience on their mental health and behavior and how those intersect with the criminal justice system. We recognize this is enhanced by both formal training and personal experience, and we strongly encourage applicants from diverse backgrounds to apply.

Applicant Requirements

Applicants must have completed a doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology prior to the start date of the fellowship. Applicants completing their degree in graduate programs within the United States or Canada must be earning their degree from an APA or CPA accredited graduate program. Applicants from doctoral programs outside the United States or Canada may be considered for a waiver of the accreditation requirement. Applicants who have not yet finished all degree requirements should include a letter from their department indicating they will have completed all degree requirements by the fellowship start date.  Preference is given to applicants who are completing or have completed an APA or CPA accredited predoctoral internship program; exceptions may be considered for newer internship programs and applicants completing internship outside the United States or Canada.
