Think, Tinker, Transform: STEM-rich Making in School Libraries

Workshop Description

This workshop will introduce K-12 librarians to STEM-rich Making in the school library. Librarians will learn a simple model to follow to implement “pop-up” STEM-rich maker activities in their library space. Librarians will be able to discuss the constraints and affordances of making in the library as well as be provided with ideas and resources to use to provide students their own STEM-rich making experiences in the library. Librarians will have the opportunity to plan their own STEM-rich making activity to use in their library space.
