Dr. Kimberley Rain Miner
Dr. Kimberley R. Miner is NASA scientist, professor, author, and motivational speaker who has traveled to the Earth’s most extreme environments from both poles to Mt. Everest to understand how the planet is changing.
Her team’s work has touched audiences globally through BBC News, The New York Times, GQ, The Today Show, and a Guinness World Record. She is a chapter lead author for the National Climate Assessment and a National Institutes of Health and AAAS Fellow.
Kimberley’s book, Considering Climate, will be released in 2025 and aims to empower younger generations to plan for climate change. Kimberley is a Black belt, wilderness Firefighter, and lives in a harbor on the Pacific Ocean.
