Laboratory for Convergent Science

The UMaine Laboratory for Convergent Science, LCS, comprises 1,283 square feet of mixed-use laboratory space.  Our mission is to identify challenges facing our world and assemble gifted teams to seek solutions regardless of discipline, emphasizing innovation and reinvention. LCS is focused on problem-centered team-based research.  We are an open and affirming research community; located in the UMaine East Annex building and sharing the first floor with the UMaine Office for Student Accessibility Services, LCS is available to students with disabilities.
