Began Conservation Science NRT Program Fall 2020
I was attracted to the NRT Program due to the collaboration of interdisciplinary studies to create comprehensive research and solutions to current worldly issues. Throughout my studies in this program, I hope to gain knowledge in other fields outside of my own as well as maintain a focus on solutions-driven research to enhance conservation efforts.
I received a BS in Environmental Technologies and Management with minors in Soil Science and Toxicology from the North Carolina State University and an MAS in Sustainable Tourism from Arizona State University. After graduating, I served in the Peace Corps in Senegal, West Africa. I am interested in biodiversity conservation and community development utilizing nature-based tourism.
