Margaret (Maggie) McCarthy

Maggie is a Master’s student working in the CompuMAINE Laboratory studying Biomedical Engineering. She received her Bachelor’s this spring in Biomedical Engineering with a minor in Mathematics. Maggie grew up in North Reading, MA. She is a member of the breast cancer project, and her research investigates the accuracy of the color mapping that results from the 2D Wavelet Transform Modulus Maxima (WTMM) method. This work will be based in the programming languages of FIJI and R. In her free time, Maggie enjoys collecting vinyl and going to the gym.
