Please join us for a graduate research presentation entitled “Whose Streets? Policing Orange Riots in 19th c. British North America”, On November 12th at 12 PM via zoom. In this lecture, Annie Tock will examine the mid-19th century Party Processions Acts through the lenses of social and spatial history and consider the ways in which this 19th-century struggle over public space might contribute to understanding our current historical moment. She invites discussion following the lecture.
