Cycling Club
The UMaine Cyccling Club aims to make collegiate racing and riding more accessible to all UMaine students.

The mission of the club is to develop a strong cycling community on campus and in the greater Orono area. By seeking funding through sponsorships, the club aims to make collegiate racing and riding more accessible to all UMaine students.
The UMaine Cycling Club meets once or twice weekly during the riding season (fall semester, late spring semester) to ride around the trails in the greater Orono/Old Town area. The club also travels during the fall semester to compete at different ECCC race events throughout the northeast. Although the UMaine Cycling Club primarily mountain bikes, we are looking to expand into other realms of cycling and are open to all members and their inputs. For our weekly rides, all we require for prospective riders is to have a bike and a helmet. We are open to all skill levels. Additionally the club volunteers, builds, and maintains trails around campus and the Orono/Old Town area.
