This public event will provide new opportunities for networking and developing collaborations both on campus and with other institutions, as well as illustrate UMaine’s substantive historical and current educational, outreach, and research engagement in the Arctic and in Arctic-impacted areas. The program will feature brief oral remarks, with the focus of the event being a poster session. Posters will explain what problems and topics interest the presenters, as well as a call for collaborations.
The reception will feature a poster session, exhibiting activities by faculty and regional partners in the Arctic and in Arctic-impacted regions, to present UMaine activity in the high latitudes and open opportunities for collaboration. Presenters will be available to explain their topics of interest and ideas for future collaborations.
