More ways to choose reuse

You can save money, avoid toxic chemicals, help reduce waste and emissions, and strengthen your community by choosing reuse in your everyday life. It’s as easy as it sounds:

  • Use your refillable water bottle instead of buying plastic bottles.
  • Bring your own mug, travel cup, or reusable straw to the coffeeshop (some will offer a discount!).
  • If your favorite restaurant or cafe defaults to disposable serviceware, check if they have reusables (metal cutlery, ceramic plate, etc.) when you’re dining in.
  • Some food delivery apps let you ask to skip the paper napkins and disposable serviceware.
  • Remember to bring your reusable bags when you shop.
