NROTC Preparatory Program
A University of Maine collaborative program to provide a Navy commissioning (NROTC) opportunity for highly motivated and exceptional high school students. The NROTC Preparatory Program (NPP) prepares Midshipmen Candidates to succeed as NROTC Midshipmen and as STEM majors at the University of Maine. Come join our future Navy-Marine Corps combat team!
Applications for Fall 2026 are now being accepted until April 1st 2026 or until all NPP slots are filled, which ever is sooner. Application materials are updated annually and outdated application forms will not be accepted. Applications are reviewed as part of a continuous selection process beginning in November 2025.
