NSSLHA Student Organization
The National Student Speech Language & Hearing chapter at the University of Maine is an organization of undergraduate students who are passionate about studying speech, language, and hearing. Our members serve our community, gaining invaluable experiences interacting with individuals with communication and swallowing disorders and their loved ones, and also participate in professional development, learning more about our major (CSD) and related career pathways. As members, we volunteer at various community events to support groups worldwide. Some events we participate in include Pumpkins in the Park, Signing with Santa, and collaborations with the Best Buddies organization and the Conley Speech, Language and Hearing Center.
