Introduction to Deep Learning Summer Bootcamp
Understand and deploy deep learning in two days!
The use of deep learning models in industry and real-world problems has grown significantly. The goal of this hybrid bootcamp is to teach participants how to formulate their problems, preprocess their data, and use existing deep neural networks to solve them.
We will teach students the foundations of deep learning along with practical examples using Python (Pytorch) packages. We will discuss issues related to Python programming under tutorial sessions. We will supplement the bootcamp with invited talks held by frontiers researchers in artificial intelligence.
The bootcamp will be held at the Roux Institute in Portland, Maine on July 18th-19th.
Participant Takeaways
- Explore real-world problems and data
- Understand foundational concepts of deep learning models
- Learn how to train/test deep neural networks
- Get familiar with alternative forms of DNNs
- Obtain hands-on experiences in Python implementation of DNNs
- Learn to discuss trouble shooting in programming
- Understand potential future opportunities that deep learning brings
