Interdisciplinary Studies

Dr. Walker’s Neurocognitive Disorders in Adults (CSD 688) students recently had a guest lecture from UMaine’s School of Nursing’s Professor Susan Wheaton about best practices in hospitals to ensure patient and clinician health, safety, and confidentiality. Special attention was paid to the prevention of the spread of C. difficile and MRSA and mindfulness of a patient’s overall health.
