Join us in celebrating the Year of the Ox!

UMaine International students will tell you about how Chinese New Year and Tet are celebrated in their homelands through a YouTube presentation. A downloadable instructional packet will have templates, directions and information on how you can create your own New Year’s decorations to celebrate the Lunar New Year.

The Hudson Museum will prepare 8 activity baskets with arts and crafts materials and instructions. Baskets are designed for classroom use, with one kit per school. Please email gretchen.faulkner@maine.edu to request a kit for your class.
