Nancy E. Hall, Professor Emerita, is recognized for her expertise in fluency disorders. Her areas of research include examining the needs and concerns of families raising children with communication disorders, and the relationship between language and fluency in early language acquisition in both typically developing children and those with communication disorders. Currently, Dr. Hall serves as Editor for Fluency & Fluency Disorders and Professional Issues for the American Journal of Speech-Language Pathology. She recently completed the Health Leadership Development program through the Hanley Center for Health Leadership and the UNH-UMaine Leadership in Neurodevelopmental Disorders (LEND) training program. Dr. Hall was awarded Fellow of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association in 2019Dr. Hall was also the founding Director of the University of Maine’s Center for Undergraduate Research and served in that capacity for five years.
