Gretchen has been with the Hudson Museum since 1986 and became director in 2002. She oversaw the redesign of the Hudson Museum in 2009, following the renovation of the Maine Center for the Arts, now the Collins Center for the Art. She develops exhibits and programs that are grounded in the museum’s collections, especially the museum’s Wabanaki holdings.
She is also responsible for programming and development activities at the Hudson Museum. Gretchen prepares grant applications and proposals to funding agencies and coordinates Museum public relations. She is also responsible for scheduling group tours and booking programs and activities.
