Figure 4. Spectrum from the X-ray fluorescence test. A beryllium window was part of the apparatus, so it could not distinguish that element or elements with atomic numbers lower than that element. The silver (Ag) peaks are the source peaks and the Compton peaks are due to scattering off the sample.
