Ojibwe Snowshoes

Unlike other snowshoe forms where the frame consists of a single wooden strip, this form utilized two wooden strips, which are secured at both the top and bottom of the shoe.
Snowshoe makers say that this form of frame construction is much easier to make than bending a single wooden strip.
