  1. Food Recycling Signage- each of our pilot communities use these customized signs to let residents know what to dispose of at each of their transfer stations

  2. Posters- these informational posters are great to put up in your town office or public library to promote food recycling in your community

  3. Brochure- these informational brochures can be handed out to residents and customers to learn more about food recycling

Food Rescue MAINE Social Media

In addition to our own social media efforts, Food Rescue MAINE has put together a toolkit of resources for our pilot communities to begin promoting food recycling in their own facilities.

Integrated Elementary School Education 

Based on feedback from Maine elementary school educators, in order to best address food system education, we must apply these teachings in multiple modes. We have, with the help of Maine elementary teachers and their students, developed an integrated program with curriculum guides for the classroom, garden and specialty classes, and for the cafeteria. 

We currently have material available for preschool and ages k-5, and will soon be adding high school food system curriculum to our website as well. Click each of the images below to browse these available resources:
