Built for Working Adults
You don’t need to disrupt your life or stop working to finish your degree. This 100% online program is purpose-built for working adults.
The part-time bachelor’s degree-completion program is flexible and even offers a self-designed option. The majority of adult students take only one or two classes at a time.
We value what you have accomplished in your professional life and offer credit for prior learning to move you forward to complete your UMaine bachelor’s degree.
How it Works
UMaine provides a unique self-directed approach giving you the ability to choose an academic path that matches your interests and professional goals.
Our degree completion students graduate with a Bachelor of University Studies (BUS). Students select from one of the following four online program tracks:
Self-Designated Track
Labor Studies Track
Leadership Studies Track
Maine Studies Track
You Are Not Alone
The University of Maine has seen students from all backgrounds and circumstances take their degrees across the finish line.
Students like Becca Babb-Brott have been where you are right now and taken the leap to return and complete their bachelor’s degrees even after 30 years—you can do it, too!
