Readfield, Wayne, and Fayette Pilot Spotlight
While all of our communities are making strides towards creating nutrient-rich compost, the transfer station serving Readfield, Wayne, and Fayette has been committed to having their compost reach a final product that residents of these three towns would be proud to take home. It took a bit of work, but through partnership with Mark King, DEP Organics Specialist, this transfer station has gotten the technical support that they needed to put together a compost operation to allow residents to turn their own food waste into garden fuel!
