The Maine Oyster Trail received a Growth and Leadership Award at the 2022 Governor’s Conference on Tourism. First launched in 2017 to educate consumers about oyster farming in Maine, the Maine Oyster Trail was reimagined in 2020 by Maine Sea Grant and the Maine Aquaculture Association in response to market changes during the coronavirus pandemic.
