The Bangor Daily News previewed the University of Maine Cooperative Extension’s “Cooking for Crowds–Food Safety Training for Volunteer Cooks” workshop. The workshop will focus on up-to-date information on how to handle, transport, store and prepare foods safely for large group functions, and is $15 per person.
