University of Maine student Nicole Maines, the subject of Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Amy Ellis Nutt’s book “Becoming Nicole,” will discuss her experiences as a transgender youth Tuesday, Dec. 1. Maines’ father Wayne also will speak about the family’s journey during the lecture slated for 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. in 100 D.P. Corbett Business Building.
