The Maine State Pomological Society and the University of Maine Cooperative Extension will hold a Summer Meeting and Orchard Tour at a Cooper Farms orchard in Hartford, Maine on Wednesday, July 23rd at 9:00 a.m. This meeting will provide disease and horticultural management updates for large and small scale orchardists. One pesticide applicator recertification credit will be offered for attending the entire program. From I-95 take Exit 75 and travel north on Route 4, going though Auburn to Route 219 in North Turner. Turn left on Route 219 and travel about 4 miles to Church Street. Turn right onto Church Street and travel about 4 miles to the orchard, on your right. The location may be changed to an orchard that is located 2 miles north of the original location on Church Street. Directional signs will be posted.
