Grains provide a variety of nutrients, like B vitamins, iron, carbohydrates, and protein, and they tend to be low in fat. Foods that make up the grains group include cereals, pasta, rice, bread, tortillas, popcorn, crackers, and more. MyPlate tells us a quarter of our plate should be grains.
