Sezen-Barrie named co-lead of NSF program focused on funding STEM education research

University of Maine Associate Professor of Curriculum, Assessment and Instruction Asli Sezen-Barrie has been appointed co-lead of the National Science Foundation’s Discovery Research PreK–12 (DRK–12) program. DRK–12 is one of the largest funders of education research on preK–12 STEM teaching, learning and assessment, including funding for studies on broadening participation in STEM fields.
