Retired University of Maine professor of microbiology William Murray Bain passed away June 25 at the age of 92. Bain, who taught microbiology at UMaine for 32 years, was a long-time Orono resident and supporter of UMaine men’s hockey. A funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. June 30 at Our Lady of Wisdom
