Professor Murray Bain passes away
Retired University of Maine professor of microbiology William Murray Bain passed away June 25 at the age of 92. Bain, who taught microbiology at UMaine for 32 years, was a long-time Orono resident and supporter of UMaine men’s hockey. A funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. June 30 at Our Lady of Wisdom Chapel, 83 College Ave., Orono. Additional details are available in the Bangor Daily News obituary.
