Rake Leaves or Leave Them Be?

Barbara Murphy of UMaine Cooperative Extension was featured in a Tuesday WLBZ/WCSH television report about whether it’s advisable or necessary to rake the leaves that fall on lawns during the fall.  She says it’s a matter of personal preference, but that there does not seem to be any real advantage gained from nutrients that might read more Rake Leaves or Leave Them Be?
