April 2020 On November 18, 2019, the Maine Food Production Leadership Council held its first work session, led by faculty and students involved in the Mitchell Center project, “Food Waste Management: Empowering Maine Businesses Toward Sustainability.” This project builds on work begun in 2015 by the Mitchell Center’s Materials Management Team, which brought together a
