Welcome to the Northeast Archaeology Laboratory Our Mission The Northeast Archaeology Laboratory at the University of Maine is a research and curation facility that advances the understanding of the rich archaeological heritage of the northeast region through scientific inquiry, preservation of heritage collections, and meaningful and active collaboration with communities whose heritage we research and
