XECON is the University of Maine's Experimental Economics Laboratory.
XECON is supported by the School of Economics, the Center for Sustainability Solutions, Maine EPSCoR and the National Science Foundation. The laboratory is open to researchers interested in the quantitative analysis of human behavior using behavioral experiments, incentive-based games without deception. Experimental economic methods are used in economics, finance, political science, sociology, anthropology and business, and a growing number of applied fields.
