The Board of Directors is excited to introduce the new Director of The Wilson Center effective mid-October. We send our deepest thanks to Summer Sunderland for her commitment and leadership in the last year, and send her with our prayers on a new adventure!

Raised in Texas by two public school teachers, Victoria never imagined herself following a call to a life of faith. And yet, after her time as an undergraduate at Wellesley College and a short stint as a public school teacher, she found herself drawn to a more spiritual path. She received her Master’s of Divinity from Iliff School of Theology and is currently the pastor of Lincoln United Methodist Church.

A voracious reader and lover of history, Victoria is excited to be stepping into a role where she can support the spiritual curiosities, journeys, and experiences of both the University of Maine students and the broader Orono-Bangor community. In her free time you can find her at an independent bookshop, playing with her dogs, or hunting for her next favorite coffee shop.
