The first international mini-symposium was held in Sandy Point, Maine on June 27th, 2023. The symposium included Dr. Ivan Perez-Santos from the University of Los Lagos and the Centro i~Mar in Chile, Dr. Aldo Sottolichio from the University of Bordeaux in France, Dr. Arnoldo Valle-Levinson from the University of Florida, visiting PhD student Debora Gadelha
