Rural Living Day

Dear Rural Living Day participants,

The Waldo County Executive Committee and Extension staff have come to the difficult decision to postpone the 30th annual Rural Living Day event we hoped to offer this spring. Like other volunteer led organizations, we have found that in a post-pandemic world it is taking longer than expected to build back a volunteer base.

We understand the importance of this event to our community and are actively working to build back the necessary volunteer energy required to put on the best possible Rural Living Day event.

We will keep you updated about our plans for next year and look forward to offering the best version of this fantastic event as possible. In the meantime, if you, or someone you know, is interested in becoming a volunteer to help plan this event, please reach out to: vina.lindley@maine.edu

Best regards,

Grandfather and Granddaughter on their Farm
