The University of Maine hosts 4 blood drives each year for the American Red Cross. \u00a0All drives take place at the Collins Center for the Arts, and all drives begin at 11:00 am and end at 5:00 pm.<\/p>\n

BLOOD DRIVES FOR THE 25\/26 ACADEMIC YEAR!<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

Tuesday, Sept 16 and Wednesday, Sept 17
\nTuesday, Nov 18 and Wednesday, Nov 19
\nTuesday, Feb 10 and Wednesday, Feb 11
\nTuesday, Apr 7 and Wednesday, Apr 8<\/p>\n

We do accept walk-ins, but our drives tend to be very busy. \u00a0Generally, your wait will be shorter if you schedule an appointment. \u00a0To schedule an appointment to donate blood, contact the Bodwell Center at 581.3091 or um.bodwellcenter@maine.edu, call the American Red Cross at 1.800.red.cross, or visit their website – redcrossblood.org <\/a>\u00a0(where it asks for zip code, type UMaine)<\/p>\n

Needlephobic? \u00a0If you don’t want to give blood or can’t for some reason, we would love to have you volunteer! \u00a0Volunteers are scheduled in 2.5 hour shifts throughout the drive. \u00a0To sign up for the next drive, visit signupschedule.com\/bodwellcenter<\/a>.<\/p>\n
