They can be associated with a specific page, and displayed automatically in a page or post using a Content Embed.<\/p>\n<p>There are five types of resources, each with their own unique icon:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Internal link<\/li>\n<li>External link<\/li>\n<li>YouTube \/ Vimeo video<\/li>\n<li>Document<\/li>\n<li>PDF<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Creating a New Resource<\/h2>\n<p>Use the Resources menu on the left and select Add New. You can choose the Resource Category using the boxes on the righthand side.<\/p>\n<p>In the Location block, go to the second field, down, Upload a Document, to choose a document from your computer.<\/p>\n<p>Click the Choose File button and select the file you want to upload. Be sure to save your Resource by clicking the Publish button in the upper right.<\/p>\n<h2>Adding a Resource to a Post<\/h2>\n<p>To add a Resource to a post, click + Add Resource and select the Resource you want to add. Click Publish to save. You can also use the methods describe for adding a resource to a page.<\/p>\n<h2>Adding a Resource to a Page<\/h2>\n<p>To add a Resource to a page,\u00a0use the \u201cAdd Media\u201d button above the editor toolbar.<\/p>\n<p>When the \u201cInsert Media\u201d dialog box appears, select \u201cInsert Post Element\u201d from the choices in the left column.<\/p>\n<p>There, you will see 2 options, \u201cRSS Feed\u201d and \u201cResource\u201d. Clicking Resource will bring up a drop-down menu that also allows you to search for a resource.<\/p>\n<p>Once you select your resource from the list, click \u201cInsert Element\u201d and this will place the resource on the page.<\/p>\n<h2>Using a Resource as Link Text<\/h2>\n<p>An alternative method to using resources is to use the link tool in the text editor of a post or page, and link to the URL of the resource. View the resource and copy its URL, this will be the destination for your link.<\/p>\n<p>Visitors to the website who are not logged in will be automatically redirected to the resource destination. If you are logged into WordPress, you will have an interim page with details about the resource, this is to allow for easily copying the web address.<\/p>\n<h2>Updating a Resource<\/h2>\n<p>To update an existing Resource, go to Resources &gt; All Resources. You can use the search box at the upper right to find the desired Resource, or the forward \/ back buttons at the bottom of the list.<\/p>\n<p>When you find the Resource you want, click Edit to be brought into the editing screen. Make your adjustments and choose Publish to save.<\/p>\n<p>Note: On saving, the Resource will be updated across the site, wherever it is in use.<\/p>\n<p>Sorry.
