University Club Closed for Fall Semester
Due to ongoing health concerns with the COVID-19 pandemic, the University Club will be closed to all members for the Fall 2021 semester.
The size and usage of the University Club make physical distancing requirements and cleaning protocols difficult to implement. In order to protect the health of Club members and the UMaine community, the University Club board has made the decision to stay closed for the coming semester.
This decision will be reviewed and updated as new information becomes available. We will update all members when the Club is able to safely reopen.
The University Club, located in the Thomas E. Lynch Room on the second floor of Fogler Library, is available by membership fee to all University of Maine employees.
The Club is a place for faculty and staff from across campus to gather in a collegial setting and foster relationships.
When classes are in session during the academic year, coffee and tea are provided for the enjoyment of members and their guests in the Club from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (unless there is a scheduled event.) Lunch is available for purchase from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
The Club is accessible to members any time the Library is open.
See the Membership Page for details on pricing and member benefits!
