These wonderfully rich muffins have a comforting banana bread-like flavor but with chocolate chips inside! It\u2019s sure to be something for the whole family!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins \u2013&nbsp;<\/strong><em>Rhona Barrie, MASP<\/em><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ingredients<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>3\/4 cup brown sugar<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1\/2 cup butter, softened<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 1\/2 cup (3 medium) mashed ripe bananas<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 eggs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 teaspoon vanilla<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 cup all-purpose flour<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 cup whole wheat flour<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 teaspoon baking soda<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1\/4 teaspoon salt<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1\/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Directions<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>Heat oven to 350 Fahrenheit (175 Celsius). In large mixer bowl, combine sugar and butter. Beat at medium speed, scraping bowl often, until mixture is creamy. Add bananas, eggs and vanilla. Continue beating, scraping bowl often, until well mixed. By hand, stir in flours, baking soda and salt, just until moistened. Fold in chocolate chips.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Spoon into greased 12-cup large muffin pan. Bake for 18 to 25 minutes or until golden brown.
