Welcome to Sweden!
Sweden was first settled in 1784 and incorporated as a town in 1813, on land which was once home to the on land that was once home to the Pequawket Native American community. The once thriving agricultural town saw a large drop in population during the 20th century, but has seen a resurgence in recent years as new residents have come for its natural beauty and rural charm.
