The small community of Rangeley Plantation, not to be confused with the adjacent town of Rangeley, is situated on the south side of Rangeley Lake and is home to the wonderful Rangeley Lake State Park. Rangeley and Mooselookmeguntic Lakes provide excellent fishing, boating, and swimming opportunities during the summer, and the area is a popular road trip destination.

    • Sandwiched right between Mooselookmeguntic and Rangeley Lakes, this mountain couldn’t ask for a better location! The 2.3-mile round-trip trail is rated as moderate, and a new 30-foot tall view tower at the summit provides spectacular views of the surrounding lakes and mountains.

    • This moderate, 2.9-mile round trip trail leads through the wilderness to the pristine Mountain Pond!
