Crystal

Welcome to Crystal!

The town of Crystal was first settled in the mid-1800s and incorporated in 1901. The town, Crystal Lake, and Crystal Stream were all named for their pristine clear waters. As in many Aroostook towns, Crystal’s primary industries are farming and logging. The town was once a busy site for shipping potatoes southwards, and the railroad there remains active today.
